BUILDING SKILLS FOR A LIFETIME

ABOUT STRIDE DESIGN SCHOOL
OUR MISSION
Stride Design School exists to make welding approachable, practical, and accessible for beginners. Our mission is to teach foundational welding skills in a small-class environment using professional equipment, with an emphasis on safety, proper technique, and confidence-building through guided instruction. We focus on real-world skills that students can carry forward for personal projects, future training, or long-term use, creating a strong foundation for learning that lasts well beyond the classroom.
OUR APPROACH

Small Class Sizes
Classes are kept intentionally small, ranging from one-on-one instruction to a maximum of five students. This structure allows for close supervision, direct feedback, and a safer learning environment for beginners. Instructors are able to correct technique in real time, answer questions as they come up, and adapt instruction to each student’s pace, resulting in faster skill development and greater confidence.

Hands-On, Practical Learning
Instruction is focused on hands-on learning using real tools and materials in a working shop environment. Students spend the majority of the class time welding, with guidance provided throughout to reinforce proper technique and correct habits. This practical approach helps beginners build a solid foundation they can apply confidently to personal projects.

Fully Equipped
A welder is provided for each student, along with welding jackets, gloves, and helmets. All practice materials are supplied, removing the need for personal equipment. Safety and proper equipment use are emphasized throughout each class, and all instruction is conducted in a fully insured shop environment to ensure a safe and professional learning experience.

STUDENT SUCCESS STORIES
“I had never welded before and was honestly pretty intimidated. The class made it feel approachable and safe, and I left actually confident enough to try projects on my own.”
EMILY
“Having all the equipment provided and such a small class made a huge difference. There was lots of hands-on time and I wasn’t just watching someone else weld.”
NATHAN
“This was exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t want a long course, just solid instruction and practice. I learned more in a day than I expected.”
